Two boys with a new old toy

My father contracted to the US military from the '50s until they pulled out of East Anglia and my sister married a serviceman and emigrated to the States in the '60s. Back then we had many American friends with these huge cars laden with fins and chrome. I will always have fond memories of visits to my sister in the US and riding round in those great cars. I guess that's where it all started for me and can't imagine life without a few toys in the garage. For some if you stay in this hobby all your life as time goes by your tastes can change. Me, I've gone through muscle cars, stock classics from most eras, always had a love for commercials (blame my dad for that) hot rods and customs. I know I am fortunate enough to presently own  at least one vehicle from each of these styles but this project seems to encapsulate a little something from them all. It will incorporate all the parts that I've had on a wish list for a long time, parts I've had stashed away for that 'special one' and parts I've just gotta have as they come along. Not forgetting all the weird and wonderful stuff Scott pulls out the bag. This guy Scott has the knowledge (maybe the bullshit) and ability to help me turn this one into a reality. I know between us we can make one special vehicle here. I hope you all like it and follow us through to completion. Scott and I are constantly throwing ideas around and everyones input is welcome.
