Come on Dodger wheres the updates?? all this work and no reports, crap I say.Anyway folks we're hoping to lift the body off the chassis maybe next week to start fitting the back axle. We have a big show coming up we would like to take the Dodge to and put it on display for all to see. Be that for a laugh, constructive critisism or praise who knows but it is something to aim for and maybe spur us on a bit..Right now we are modifying the rack mounts for the zillionth time. Once happy its final mock up of the front and steering then body off! can't wait..

Hi bumper the pedal box was a good time spent loads of high to build .learned a lot. steering column will be grt .as well. recycle and reuse. as for tail dragging with your ass you can talk.. one job at at a time would be good .you are getting the build your way so there .enjoy we must have a look about the heater before the fire wall goes in

Yes pedal-box is soaking up the hours but nearly there now and boy does it look and function good. Steering column nearly there too Dodger just getting a bush made up for the bottom of column ( some 'ol bit of sxxx he's found probably) but hey re-cyclins good nowadays. Soon be body off and time to think about some wheels on the back......do we really need'em???? tail draggins good y'know...Our build time of course has been chucked out the window but even a rolling something would be great to debut in August, well I think its funny!!

Hello Helper, trying to place you at Billing?? old age and bad memory don't help. Hope you like the site and our project. Yes I think we are now seeing the an end to the seat design/build, its been time consuming but an important part too, we spend a long time on it so gotta be comfy. Hopefully soon be back on the pedal box ..damn tricky for me that there pedal box,be glad when THATS done for sure.

Good weather here at last, seem to have a few areas of the build 'on the go' right now which I like. Pedal box coming on but I find it hard work, Dodger seems to be enjoying himself with it! Started on the seat too which to me is an important part, gotta be comfy buy we need it to help get pedals set up right too. Dodger it was good to start that 'other' van the weekend, also Tplane starting to come apart now..oh dear....

Hi Kentman, and welcome to our site, the seat was originally out of a'40s Hudson sedan. It was too wide so all we have done so far is cut it in half and overlap it to the width and shape we want. It will have a new steel perimiter frame just saving the back, a steel base frame for the runners, ply top on that for a new set of cushions, the rebuilt outer frame will be painted. Stay in touch.
